About the Residency: I both trained at University at Buffalo, and now work here as an attending so I have both perspectives on the program. The program here offers a unique opportunity to train at many sites, a trauma/burn center, an inner city hospital, a free standing children's hospital, as well as a few community ED's, which I think does more than prepare one for whatever they plan to do after residency. The attendings are easily approachable and eager to teach.

About Buffalo: Buffalo has been a great place to live. With the four seasons we enjoy there are plenty of activities to keep occupied, from the ski resorts in winter, to the free summer concerts in summer, it is never difficult to find something to do. The traffic here is minimal and everything is pretty much within a twenty minute drive. Buffalo is also a family friendly town.
