Our program is relatively new, but already it has a track record of academic and educational success. The department has secured more than $12,000,000 in research grants in the last three years. Our location in the Buffalo-Niagara region is another strong plus. Life here is good and the cost of living is reasonable. Entertainment of all sorts is available and the four-season climate and varied terrain are perfect for outdoor activities. Urban, suburban, and even rural lifestyles are possible within an easy commute from our teaching hospitals. 

To me, the best thing about our program is the people. I don’t believe that there is a nicer, more talented group of people in any other residency. From the faculty to the residents and the support staff, you will sense their commitment to making your educational experience second to none. They are simply great! You will enjoy meeting them and becoming part of our "family" if you match with us.
